The students received Summer Counts books today. In the back, there is an answer key. Please remove it and keep it separate. Please do not let your child use it to do the work. The purpose of the book is to help your child maintain the skills he /she has gained; just copying the answers without thought will not accomplish this aim. Parents should use it, however, to check their child's progress. Thank you.

Grade 4 and 5 Reading:

List of 25 books read over the year due tomorrow, Tuesday 6/21 (or Wednesday 6/22). This is a grade!

Please remeber that all library books, either from the school or class library, textbooks, workbooks and Math at Hand MUST be returned. If a book has been damaged or lost, the student will be responsible for replacing it.

The Fourth Graders received a suggested Summer Reading List. They should be reading every day and these books should be available in the Public Library. It is suggested that they read 5 books of their choice during the summer. They may choose either from this list or from other books. The most important thing is that they read on a regular basis.
